About Health 1st Medical Clinic

Health 1st Medical Clinic is located in the Belmont neighborhood in North Edmonton.

Appointments are recommended. To book an appointment, please call (780) 478-2735, or use our online booking system.

We are currently not accepting new patients. If you would like to be placed on our waiting list for new patients, please contact us.


Our Services

Attention To All Patients

If on a work or student visa, please ensure your Alberta Health Care is valid prior to the appointment. If it is not valid, non-resident fees apply. There are no charges for phone / fax prescription renewals and phone advice.

Insured Services

Routine Screening

Visit us for routine screenings such as mammograms, blood testing for diabetes, blood pressure readings, etc.

Specialist Referrals

We will speed your access to specialist care with a referral to an individual with the skills needed for your medical condition.

Extended Appointments

Please speak to the front desk staff to make an extended appointment if you need counseling or have multiple concerns.

Complete Checkup

Visit us for a comprehensive medical examination, which will update your medical record.

Minor Procedures

Visit us for minor medical procedures such as wart removal, toenail removal, skin tag removal, sutures for an injury, etc.

Uninsured Services

The following services are not covered by Alberta Health & Wellness. These are uninsured services that must be paid for at the front desk prior to the examination (cash only). If there are any questions, please speak to the nurse, Dr. Sandhar or Dr. Sidhu.

  1. Travel advice and vaccinations

  2. Drivers’ medical examination (under age 74.5 years)

  3. Sick notes/forms for third parties (e.g., attending physician statements, forms for work/school)

  4. Non-resident of Canada

  5. Letters for work, school, CRA, immigration, etc. (cost depends on the length of time it takes to write a letter)

  6. Transfer of medical records (cost depends on chart length)

  7. Lost prescriptions or requisitions

  8. Skin tag removal (please talk to the doctor or nurse)
